In reaction to the pandemic, extensive experiments with hybrid school models that combine full-time and distance learning have begun. What are the strengths and weaknesses of these models and how will they affect the future of education? My paper will try to give a general introduction to the issue and then follow up by sharing experience from the so-called expedition school; a unique hybrid model with which Scio has been experimenting since last September.
