
Marcel Kolaja has been a member of the Czech Pirate Party since 2010. In 2019, he became a Member and Vice-President of the European Parliament. He is a member of the committees on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO), on Culture and Education (CULT), and on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA). His work is focused mainly on the Regulation on preventing the dissemination of terrorist content online, on regulating AI, and on the Digital Services Act.
The Digital Services Act is a long-awaited piece of legislation reforming the basic rules of the internet in Europe. We will touch on the regulation of platforms such as social networks as well as online marketplaces. Last but not least, we will speak about the interoperability of services.
