The European Union has been planning a major recast of its digital technology regulation even before the pandemic, but in recent months, the importance of the digital transition and related regulation has only grown. The conference will take place a short time before the Digital Services Act will be presented, and in the following year, the EU is planning new digital and AI strategies. The digital transition is also an inherent part of the European recovery plans.
